Offline saving of mp3/m4a.

Would love the ability to export an mp3 or just save the full transcription offline. Would be great for plane trips for example. user can be able to download the audio of whole single book and listen to it offline. If this is possible then it would be a nice feature as many times during travel there is network issue.

Option to Correct Pronunciations in Voice Reader

Hi, I really enjoy using your voice reader app — it’s been very helpful. I have a small feature request that could make it even better. Sometimes the app mispronounces certain words or skips parts of them. It would be great if you could add an option to manually correct pronunciations or adjust how specific words are spoken. A pronunciation editor or dictionary feature would be very useful for users who want accurate and consistent reading. Thank you for your time and for continuously improving the app! — Option to force a different pronunciation for specific words There are some words that the ultra premium voice struggles to read correctly. I would like a way to set the to override how it would default pronounce the word with the specific way I would read it

Mode keeps changing

Hello everything is perfect on this app except that the mode keeps changing to listen mode when I exit the app and I lose my place where I was reading. Can you make it stay on the mode that users were last on please?

Cloning voices.

It would be great if there was an option to clone our own voice so we can use it to read books. Please consider it for the future.

Multiple voices used within a book.

Hi, It would be great to have multiple voices within the books that have various characters speaking, i.e. when the male characters are talking, the app will use a male voice, same with female characters using female voices when speaking. It makes it more life like and relatable.

Do you think it would be possible, when reading a novel, to assign a voice to each character of the book and keep it throughout the entire reading, so that the reading becomes more vivid? I don’t know if this is possible at the moment. I believe ElevenLabs is working on it. The artificial intelligence would need to detect each character and automatically assign a voice—this would be really great. — I don’t know how difficult this would be, but will be very nice to have different voice for the different characters within a book. Love the app by the way. Great job team.

Sync Between Devices (iCloud sync feature)

It would be cool if the app settings stayed synced among devices. I want to use it on iPad, iPhone and Mac. I would like configuration settings, book library, and current reading position to be synchronized for all my devices. Right now, I have to upload the book to each device I use and set my preferred settings again. — It would be amazing if the app could have some kind of sync feature. At the moment I use 2 devices but need to look up where I left behind on the other device.

Audio pre load?

It would be nice to get a function where the audio is pre-loaded. It doesn’t need to be the whole text. But maybe some minutes so that if you lose your connection a bit, the audio won’t stop.

Ability to Download PDF and EPUB from sources

Would be extremely helpful to be able to add links to specific sources where we can download files directly into the app.

More fonts pls!!

I like that you can change the size of the fonts but there's no option available to change the appearance of the fonts. Overall I love the app, and the text reflow is amazing in the app:)

I prefer to have it on read mode as a default, please can we have this option as it automatically chooses listen mode. Thank you!

Bookmarks should be directly accessible / navigate to the 'next' bookmark, based on the current position in the book

I'm using the 'bookmark' feature in your App. That one is great. Is there a way to navigate to the 'next' bookmark, based on the current position in the book? I'm now reviewing all the bookmarks I marked, and it would be so convenient if I can jump through the different bookmarks with a button. —- Currently, bookmarks are hidden inside a menu, which makes them less convenient to access during reading or listening. When using the app frequently (especially for audiobooks), bookmarks are an important navigation tool. Having to open a menu every time breaks the flow. Suggestion Make bookmarks directly accessible from the main reading screen (for example via a visible button or icon). This would: Improve usability for frequent listeners Make navigation faster and more intuitive Reduce friction when switching between bookmarked positions Notes The goal is not to add complexity, but to make bookmarks more visible and quicker to reach.

Change word pronunciation

(at)voice aloud reader give the option to change the pronunciation of words. This is useful for fictional words and names in, but not limited to, sci-fi and fantasy books. Would like to request this feature

VoiceOver accessibility

Good afternoon, Please! Make this app more accessible for those of us who are using VoiceOver! Many of the menus are not accessible when accessed from within the player the labelling is present for things like the audio settings menu says expanded then shows the options of the menu as one solid block of text no separation and no way to make sure you’re hitting the correct items. Generally this app is great but needs a serious accessibility overhaul. — This app could be of so much value for blind users to read books with such high quality voices, but unfortunately it has some serious accessibility barriers. While one can listen to a book playing, the menus from the reading screen are inaccessible which means that blind readers cannot change any voice settings. Also the table of contents is not accessible with VoiceOver, which makes the app really difficult to use for students who need to navigate around books. I would appreciate it greatly if you could attend to these accessibility issues.

It would be nice to listen to your Kindle books without having to have your screen on all the time for free, basically when your phone is on sleep mode, it still runs in background

Female readers

I do not understand why I can't change the voice to female while testing out the app.The book I'm using is 3rd person female.. Being stuck with a male voice is confusing to say the least. Why not give the user the option Fem or Male . I want to put this app through it's paces before I lay down my real cash.

share webpage, app it transfers EVERYTHING to be read, even the invisible stuff

So, I've been reading alot of webnovels online and I'm having this reoccurring issue with sharing it to the app. So, when I load the webpage everything looks normal, but when I share it to the reader app it transfers EVERYTHING to be read, even the invisible stuff. For example, I'm currently reading a book with 1300 chapters. Online it'll just show a box with chapter 1 or w.e, but once it's downloaded it lists every single chapter line. I'll share the webpage and the downloaded book (if I can figure it out, lol). Turn off Auto-Detect Language

I have my default language set to English, and the novel is in English, but for certain sentences and onomatopoeia the voice changes from my set voice (Ava) to a Punjabi accent or British accent or others. My offline voice is Sam, so it’s not jumping to this. For example, “Pardon?” almost always gives me a British accent. Every time this happens I have to pause the app to read the sentence because I have Ava set to 1.2x speed, and the other voices in 1.2x sounds like a chipmunk at that speed. This used to happened with PocketBook App’s tts as well, until I turned off “auto-detect language” which immediately fixed this issue. I am wondering if something similar is happening here. Thank you.

Library sort options.

After I tried different sort options like title a to z or titles z to a or just read last and like that, I realized that my favorite sort option was the default option of putting the the added files in the order in which they were added, but that option doesn't seem to appear now on the screen and I don't know how to return to that sort order (the order that they went into automatically in the first place). If as I get the impression that that it's not possible to return to that sort order (or at least I don't know how to do it) If it's not possible to return to that sort order then I think adding that sort order as a sorting option would be very valuable. Thank you very much. I personally think this this app is just amazing. I am just amazed how valuable it is. Thanks very much

More premium French narrators, both male and female.

As a French user, we would like more premium French narrators, both male and female. We would also like to have two or more narrators simultaneously during audio. For example, when the story is told from a woman's perspective, it would be preferable for a female narrator to speak, thus bringing a touch of sensitivity and authenticity to the narration. Similarly, when it is from a man's perspective, a male narrator would be more appropriate to properly convey the emotions and nuances of the story. This approach not only improves the quality of the performance but also better represents the different perspectives and experiences of the characters, making the stories more captivating and believable for the audience. All of this in a synchronized manner.

Reader stops on each page of the kindle books instead of going on / Minimize pause between Kindle “pages”

truly amazing alternative to the paywall apps. I love it. However, reader stops on each page of the kindle books instead of going on — I love this app and am almost ready to sign up for a full year! I can see the clever use of Kindle’s cloud reader which is perfect- helps me keep my place when I come back after a break in reading/listening. The issue is that there is a significant “pause” in TTS when a page is complete and we have to wait until the next page is advanced before the speech continues. Supporting “infinite scroll” or doing something to speed up next-page-loads would greatly reduce this distraction and have whole chapters flow more naturally. Let me know if you need more info. Keep up the great work!

Offline mode

Possibility to download audio for offline mode (download locally in App works just fine as well).

Censorship

Why are curse words censored in the books? This is ridiculous, I'm considering switching to another app just for that reason. it's really distracting and annoying whether it happens. What's even more annoying is that it's not just the curse word who's censored but the entire paragraph where it is.

I would prefer to have a continuous scroll between chapters rather than manually changing it to a different chapter. Could be a nice option to have! Thank u for this app

Difference Between 2 Apps

What is the difference between your two apps: TTSReaderVoiceAloudReader and audiobooks-ai? I noticed the two voices I used the most disappeared from the TTS Reader app, Shimmer and Onyx. They weren't present in the newer one either besides being preview voices. I paid for a subscription in the TTSReader app, but I feel stopped considering the voices I used aren't present anymore.

Audio playing in background mode keeps being paused

Please add a toggle where users can choose to play and stops at each individual chapter or seamless play without pause until manually stop. Please make it so that the voice keeps playing, ignore all the special character like (…), (./.) They stop whenever encountering this. Thank you for being a great app developer :)

Reader intermittently stopping.

It seen to only stops at the start of a new page after reading one word. It doesn’t always stop, but it does often enough to be annoying. Everytime when it stops, I have to select another paragraph then select back to where it stops it will play again till the next page. Can the team please a look at this issue? This happens to the book I uploaded onto the app.
