Turn off Auto-Detect Language

I have my default language set to English, and the novel is in English, but for certain sentences and onomatopoeia the voice changes from my set voice (Ava) to a Punjabi accent or British accent or others. My offline voice is Sam, so it’s not jumping to this. For example, “Pardon?” almost always gives me a British accent.

Every time this happens I have to pause the app to read the sentence because I have Ava set to 1.2x speed, and the other voices in 1.2x sounds like a chipmunk at that speed.

This used to happened with PocketBook App’s tts as well, until I turned off “auto-detect language” which immediately fixed this issue. I am wondering if something similar is happening here.
