Reader stops on each page of the kindle books instead of going on / Minimize pause between Kindle “pages”
truly amazing alternative to the paywall apps. I love it. However, reader stops on each page of the kindle books instead of going on
—
I love this app and am almost ready to sign up for a full year! I can see the clever use of Kindle’s cloud reader which is perfect- helps me keep my place when I come back after a break in reading/listening. The issue is that there is a significant “pause” in TTS when a page is complete and we have to wait until the next page is advanced before the speech continues. Supporting “infinite scroll” or doing something to speed up next-page-loads would greatly reduce this distraction and have whole chapters flow more naturally.
Let me know if you need more info. Keep up the great work!

Kindle’s cloud reader comes with significant technical limitations around page loading and navigation. Each page is effectively a separate render, and we don’t have full control over how or when the next page becomes available for reading.
That said, we are actively working on optimizing our process to reduce the pause time between pages as much as possible but we want to be transparent that this is not an easy problem to solve, and there are limits we can’t fully bypass on our end.
Moving forward
We’re continuing to improve this and will keep refining the experience wherever Kindle’s constraints allow. We truly appreciate your patience while we work on it.
Also, if you know of any other apps that handle Kindle page transitions better, we’d genuinely love to hear about them — it helps us benchmark and learn what might be possible.

Page turning works perfectly… if my screen stays on and app is in front. Not sure if that help
