and do you have any idea where the position of the button should be?

It's not my idea, but I wholeheartedly agree with it.
I think it would be very useful for people like me, who are learning a foreign language using this app.
The topic is complicated and would probably require a broader discussion, but in its simplest form, I would see it like this:
1. Short click on the triangle (Play icon) = PLAY (normal)
2. Long click on the triangle (the "Play" icon) = LOOP (the "Play" icon changes to the "Loop" icon
Settings for the number of repetitions (including infinite loop) and settings such as "sentence," "paragraph," etc. should be somewhere close at hand... maybe under the three dots on the right (...)?

I would use this feature too.
Attached is an image showing how maplereader does it. The context menu for a word includes options to start speaking from the word, speak the word and then pause, or speak the word and then repeat on a loop until paused.
It means that if the pronunciation of a word is difficult we can hear it repeated over and over again until we get the feel of it.
I would make the repeat infinite but provide a way of interrupting it

@Jon Nixon I don’t get the idea yet but maybe first you can create a new feature post and we can discuss more about it
