Translate block at bottom of page for kindle books

Hi -

When I read a kindle book the read/listen toggle is at the bottom left of the screen and the eye button is at the top right. See attached image

But the block of text which appears when I press the eye button is only a copy of the source language text the tts is currently reading. It would be great to have the translated text instead (the translation options are missing).
