audio freezes probably due to epub format issue

I uploaded a french epub. when I view it through tts reader it has split a piece of dialogue over two sections with the closing » on its own line. in other readers the « and » are in one paragraph.

when tts reader reaches the » it freezes. screenshot attached.

Great app btw. best voices of any e-pub reader I've tried.

    This looks fixed now. Formatting looks better and audio flows correctly. Thanks

    Hello,

    I am having an issue with the text-to-speech feature.

    Every time the reader encounters this symbol >>, the voice stops reading completely. The reading does not continue unless I restart it manually.

    This happens systematically and makes it difficult to listen to documents that contain this symbol.

    Please let me know if this is a known bug or if there is a way to fix or ignore this symbol during reading.

      Thank you for the information, @Hellal. I believe this issue has already been fixed, but it seems it may still be happening in your case.

      Could you please share a screenshot or a short sample of the text where this occurs so I can reproduce the issue and fix it for you?

        Hi - the same issue is still affecting me. Attached are screenshots of the epub source paragraph and the voice reader screen. The app freezes on the » so it’s sounds like Hellal is seeing the same thing. I can email the epubif required.
